PSC's Illicit Trade Desk is dedicated to addressing the challenges posed by illegal trading activities that undermine legitimate businesses, reduce government revenues, and threaten public safety. Its purpose includes advocating for stronger enforcement of trade and customs regulations, promoting public-private collaboration to identify and combat smuggling and counterfeit goods, and raising awareness about the economic and social harms of illicit trade. The desk also works with regulatory agencies and stakeholders to improve border control, enhance supply chain transparency, and support policies that protect fair and legal commerce
