Executive Assistant

The incumbent will be required to coordinate the executive functions and provide
support to the Private Sector Commission.


Major Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

  • Reconciling the accounts and follow up on outstanding payments.
  • Provide administrative support to the Council, Executive Management and
    Internal and External Meetings of the Commission.
  • Supervise the coordination of events, seminars, and workshops.
  • Prepare minutes of meetings and follow up on action points in a timely
    manner.
  • Prepare letters, meeting requests and other pertinent documents for the
    smooth flow of information

Essential Qualifications

Education:

  • Recognized degree in the Social Sciences OR
  • Eight subjects CXC (inclusive of Mathematics and English Language).

Experience:

  • A minimum of two (2) years of working experience in a similar capacity

Language:

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills (Business Communication will be an asset).

Knowledge

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)

  • Strong time management skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with staff at all levels
  • Team player
